Almost time for a new year.
New year, new me. No more gullible, naive, believes-what-she’s-told me. Say hello to Ms. Skeptic.
It always hurts when someone you love doesn’t love you back — but it hurts 1000x more when someone tells you that they love you and it was all a lie.
Sure, I believe you can fall in and out of love. But if love departs quicker than it arrives, then was it really there to begin with?
Life is hard. That’s a given. You’ll always find ups and downs. I think my favorite quote about life comes from Parenthood.

Christmas is around the bend. Christmas presents are wrapped, cards are written out and ready to be mailed {yes, I am behind on the game this year} and packages ready to be mailed.I just realized I’m missing a couple of gifts for the teachers in school. :s Crud. I wasn’t planning on going out this week shopping. Guess I have to now.I also have digiscrap projects I need to finish. Grrr. I’m more behind than I had thought. So, let the countdown begin. :)
Mean People Suck.
Plain and simple. I don’t know if people just sit there and think of ways to be cruel or if they are naturally cruel, but wow. Well, two (or three or four) can play at this game. Although, I’d have to sit and think about how to be cruel. It’s not something that comes naturally to me. I’d like to think the best of everyone, but obviously, there are cruel people out there, sometimes even “friends” turn out to be cruel ones.
Yeah, bah humbug.
No commentsThank God it’s Friday.
Wow. Made it through another week. This was by far the week from hell. So much to do. So many extra things to do. Lots of thoughts on my mind. No one really cares about them, so they just sit and fester. Fun, fun, fun.
Tomorrow night is the big Christmas party. Up to 28 adults and 14 kids. Yikes. Someone pass the JD! ![]()
