Wicked Cup of Joe

Ok - so, New Kids on the Block. Reunion tour? Maybe? How awesome would it be? And OMG what if Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch opened for them?! I’d be there like rats to a subway!

And speaking of subways — Cloverfield was AWESOME. I was a little worried at first. Next to the register at the ticket counter was a sign that something along the lines of: “Due to the way the movie was filmed, motion sickness can occur.” Sigh. I often get motion sickness. I know, figures. But I was fine. There was one point where I started to feel a teeny bit queasy, but I made it through. Great movie. The creature was NOT what I expected. I did want more and there were times where I was getting pissy that I couldn’t see the way I wanted to see. And it completely sucked when a bunch of kids came flying through the aisle and ran right into my legs. Ow! But all and all, I was happy. The Husband was not. He wanted to know more. Couldn’t believe it ended the way it did. Uhm, hello. It was a “camcorder” film found at the site formerly known as Central Park. What did you think was going to happen????

But at 13-days-til-I’m-30, I’m terrified afraid of hanging my feet or arms over the side of the bed at night.  I know, I know.  But yet each night I’ll lay in the bed and make sure that my toes don’t hang over or my elbow is on the bed with plenty of room.  I’m not afraid of any person grabbing my feet or hands — it’s more (wait for it!) about a monster or (wait for it) alligators.  Yes.  You read correctly.  I have no clue in the world where I came up with this fear or how it even makes sense to my brain.  I can lay in the bed and tell myself that the fear is ridiculous - yet - I still have to make sure the tootsies are not hanging over.

And you thought you had issues.

At least not tomorrow.  My mom is sick and can’t come out to watch Matt - soooo, no movie this weekend. ::sob::  

I’m guessing tomorrow will be a cleaning day then.  Ooh.  Fun.  The husband is going to play cards tomorrow night, so I’ll be able to watch TV in peace.  Yay! 

Bad news on the kiddo health front.  He definitely has fluid in at least one ear.  So that’s large tonsils, enormous adenoids and fluid in the ear(s).  Ugh.

I cannot WAIT to see this movie. We’re going this Saturday. Woo Hoo! The only thing I am not sure about is the way it was filmed. From the actors’ point of view {on their camera}. The same way Blair Witch was done. I know I’ll be saying, “Can you move it to the left a bit?” LOL

Are they not the cutest things ever?! The way the baby goes to bite his brothers leg at the end - sooo funny! Poor kid — wonder if he ever stuck his finger in his brothers mouth again!

On a side note: apologies to those using IE. My banner image is appearing wonky. I think it has to do with it being a png file. I’m going to try to rectify it.
