Wicked Cup of Joe

Hump day is just about over

I need an assistant.  I swear.  There are so many things I want to do each day and so many things I have to do each day. I’m lucky if I get to shave my legs never mind do something I enjoy!

Maybe I just need someone to schedule out my day, hour by hour.  Then again, maybe I just need to take control and learn how to say no, monitor where I spend the most of my time and ration off the remaining time amongst things I want and need to get done, in order of importance.  Key word, maybe.

I also have a lot on my mind and feel like a chicken running around without a head.  With the husband’s illness and the scary possibilities around that, plus with school back in session, work and the freaking wonderful wedding at the end of the month… well, it’s any wonder I’ve not gone off the deep end.

But then again, I have read the Twilight saga 2-and-three-quarters times (almost done with the last to make it 3) and am loving every minute of it.  Immersed in the life of Edward & Bella.  Wishing I was part of their life.  Sad when I get ripped out of my alternate reality and sucked back into life.  Life where I don’t have a super powerful, romantic vampire to watch over me and protect me with all his might.

Sigh.

I so need to start New Moon. I love being immersed in Bella and Edward’s romance. It is so powerful and surprising.

I vote for saying no more often and doing more things for yourself! HUGS!
